Weapons Unbound — RPG Combat Update
The raid arsenal has been unbound! This update introduces rare named weapons, purchasable endgame alternatives, new consumables, global raid buffs, combat-balancing changes, permanent raid history, and several quality-of-life improvements.
WHAT’S NEW
Weapons
New Weapon Type: All-Around [ALL]
[ALL] weapons receive a 50% weapon-damage bonus against every boss type.
This special typing is reserved for weapons that are not limited to Melee, Ranged, or Magic matchups.
Blessed Unique Named Weapons
Blessed Unique weapons are exceptionally rare main-boss drops with unique passive abilities.
- Only main bosses can drop Blessed Unique weapons.
- Eligible top contributors receive a separate 1% Blessed Unique drop roll.
- This roll is separate from the existing Mythical weapon roll.
- Blessed Unique weapons have 35 durability.
- Blessed Unique weapons cost 5,000 points to repair.
Heaven’s Judgement
Type: [ALL]
Weapon Damage: +200
Passive — Slayer of the Mighty: While the boss is above 50% HP, the attack deals an additional 50% damage.
The Fool’s Dagger
Type: [ALL]
Weapon Damage: +80
Passive — Gambler’s Fervor: Adds 50 percentage points to the normal critical-hit chance. Each attack also awards points equal to 10–50% of the credited damage dealt.
Obsidian Brutalizer
Type: [ALL]
Weapon Damage: +150
Passive — Blunt Force: Each attack made with this weapon adds +25 weapon damage for the remainder of the current boss encounter. The accumulated bonus resets when the encounter ends.
Forgotten Daggers of the Faithless
Type: [ALL]
Weapon Damage: +50
Passive — Corrosive Edge: Attacks deal additional fixed damage equal to 0.25% of the boss’s maximum HP.
Branch of Yggdrasil
Type: [ALL]
Weapon Damage: +100
Passive — Hymn of the Spirits: Adds +2 weapon damage for every current chatter, capped at +200 bonus damage. The chatter bonus is doubled against Magic bosses.
Overclocked Weapons
Overclocked weapons are powerful, purchasable alternatives for players who do not receive rare boss drops.
- Purchase price: 100,000 points
- Weapon damage: +150
- Maximum durability: 25
- Repair cost: 2,500 points
Available weapons:
- Overclocked Sword —
[Melee] - Overclocked Bow —
[Ranged] - Overclocked Tome —
[Magic]
Passive — Overdrive
Attacking with an Overclocked weapon gives Overdrive a 50% chance to consume and activate another eligible consumable charge from the player’s inventory.
- Overdrive can only be attempted once per player per stream.
- Overdrive will automatically trigger when an attack is used if the requirements are met.
- The additional effect must come from a consumable charge the player already owns.
- Berserk and global buffs cannot be selected.
- A Second Wind attack cannot trigger another Overdrive attempt.
- Overdrive cannot trigger itself recursively.
Consumables
Lucky Dice — 1,000 points
The next attack becomes a high-risk damage roll:
- The base-attack floor is reduced by 50%.
- The base-attack ceiling is increased by 100%.
Only the base attack range is changed. Weapon damage and passive bonuses are calculated separately.
The Fool’s Card — 500 points
The player’s next attack produces a random point result:
- Maximum loss: 500 points
- Maximum reward: 1,500 points
- Complete range: −500 to +1,500 points
Global Buffs
Global buffs are first-come effects that influence attacks across the stream.
The same chatter cannot control two global buffs simultaneously. For example, a player who purchased Blessing of the Gods cannot also purchase Ancient Pact during that stream.
Flag Bearer’s Will — 5,000 points
The purchaser sacrifices their next attack to become the Flag Bearer.
- The next 10 eligible attacks made by other players deal 30% additional damage.
- The attacking player retains credit for their normal damage.
- The additional 30% damage is credited to the Flag Bearer.
- Each empowered attack removes one durability from a random usable weapon in the Flag Bearer’s inventory.
- If the Flag Bearer has no weapons with remaining durability, the effect does not apply and no charge is consumed.
- Remaining charges persist for the current boss encounter until they are used or the encounter ends.
- Flag Bearer bonus damage is included in rewards, leaderboards, raid history, dashboards, and chatter statistics.
Ancient Pact — 1,500 points
Raises the base-attack ceiling of all subsequent attacks during the stream by 100.
Ancient Pact affects the base attack roll and does not directly increase weapon or passive damage.
ADJUSTMENTS
Additive Damage Multipliers
Damage multipliers now stack additively instead of multiplicatively.
This prevents combinations of critical hits, consumables, global buffs, weapon advantages, and passive effects from producing excessively inflated damage.
Improved Mythical Drop Rate
The Mythical weapon drop chance for eligible top contributors has increased from 1% to 3%.
The existing contribution bracket remains unchanged.
Improved Combat Feedback
Attack messages now display relevant weapon passive activations, bonus damage, bonus points, Flag Bearer support damage, and Overdrive results.
QUALITY OF LIFE
Persistent Raid History
Completed raids now retain their top-10 contributor leaderboards.
Players can review the damage rankings and statistics for previous encounters from the public raid and statistics pages.
Improved Raid Reminders
Raid reminders now appear as purple Twitch announcements, with a normal-chat fallback if Twitch cannot send the announcement.
Profile-specific timed announcements can also define their own:
- Message
- Interval
- Required chat-message count
- Twitch banner color
Regular timer messages, successful banner announcements, fallback messages, and complete failures are now recorded in saved stream logs.
Improved Raid Shop and Guide
The public raid guide is grouped into:
- Weapons
- Consumables
- Buffs
- Services
The !raid shop command now sends one compact message containing the essential shop items and a link to the full channel-specific raid guide, preventing the command from flooding chat.
Gambling-Loss Record
Points lost through gamble and roulette are now transferred to RatsBoomBot.
- Each channel has its own persistent gambling-loss total.
- The channel dashboard displays the total lost to RatsBoomBot.
- Looking up RatsBoomBot through a channel’s points command displays how many points have been lost gambling in that channel.
Gamble responsibly!
BUG FIXES
Raid-Page Dropdowns
Removed the raid page’s automatic refresh behavior that caused open dropdowns to close or reset unexpectedly.
Uppercase Points Commands
Made all shared and channel-specific points command groups case-insensitive, including nested duel commands.
Commands such as !PETALS GAMBLE ALL are now interpreted correctly.
Passive Point Payouts
Fixed passive point payouts to process Twitch’s paginated chatter response as an asynchronous iterator.
Eligible active chatters should now receive their timer-based points correctly.
Raid Payout Reporting
Fixed the resolved-raid reporting total so logs and returned results correctly show the contribution points awarded to players.
Timer Logging
Fixed timed-announcement logs so a normal-chat fallback is no longer incorrectly reported as a successful colored Twitch announcement.
